A woman calling herself Navi infiltrates the Monastery of Rakin Tor to save a boy afflicted with godlike power from himself. This power, if untempered, will strip him of his sanity and destroy everything and everyone he loves. Potentially worse, if the Inquisition gets wind of him, they will scour the monastery from the face of Alesia without hesitation. While Navi races to save the boy from the dangers unfolding inside him, she fears that she her only recourse will be to save the rest of humanity from him instead.
